Individual and Couples Therapy in Isanti

“The beautiful journey of today can only begin when we learn to let go of yesterday.” - Steve Maraboli

Butterflies are a common example of growth, change, and beauty. A butterfly starts as a fuzzy caterpillar, builds itself a safe space to grow, and emerges into a beautiful butterfly. We all have the capacity to grow into a butterfly. My job is to help you find the strength for change and to guide you through your own process of identifying what you need to grow into the person you want to be and live your life authentically.

Robbie Deering, MA, LMFT

My name is Robbie Deering (she/her) and I am Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #3228) and MN MFT Board Approved Supervisor. I have an MA in Adlerian Counseling and Psychotherapy from Adler Graduate School. I am a Master Certified Practitioner in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and Certified Prepare-Enrich Facilitator. I am also trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and have completed Level 1 Training in Gottman Method for Couples Therapy.

I believe the most important factor in successful therapy is the therapist-client relationship. I bring humor, honesty, and authenticity into my sessions (I like to cuss a little), while creating a safe and supportive space for clients to be who they are. My role in the therapy process is to provide support and encouragement to clients as they explore the changes they desire.

I enjoy working with adults, new parents, and couples to address concerns related to depression, anxiety, trauma, conflict, relationship challenges, parenting challenges, and life transitions.
